Pursuing Confidence: An Empowerment Luncheon

Hosted by Pursuing Wellness • Benefitting Voices Against Sexual Assault

Where healing meets hope—and hope becomes action.

Why This Luncheon

Too many individuals carry silent doubt after seasons of harm and hardship. Confidence can be rebuilt.
At the Pursuing Confidence Luncheon, we gather to honor resilience, restore dignity, and fund real healing through Voices Against Sexual Assault’s survivor programs.

What makes this event different

  • Trauma-informed programming (no graphic stories)

  • Skills & mindset moments from the PURSUE framework

  • Survivor-centered, dignity-first giving opportunities

Program Highlights

Pursuing Confidence Mini-Teaching – A live introduction to the PURSUE framework (Purpose, Unlock, Resilience, Self-Awareness, Unshakable Confidence, Elevate).
Guest Speakers (1–2) – Short, powerful talks on confidence after trauma and community-based healing.
“I AM Becoming…” Moment – A dignified participant panel reading one sentence each (future-focused).
The Wall of Becoming – A live, participatory art/giving activation.
Silent Auction + Sponsor Spotlight – Wellness-forward baskets and community partners.
